Fiber Arts Boston Resource and Innovation Center (FABRIC) is a non-profit makerspace and tool library. Our mission is to preserve fiber arts for the future through educational classes, a fiber arts library, and the promotion of fiber artists. FABRIC’s goal is to provide a community work space with an abundant resource library of: equipment, books, patterns, and tools. In this space we cultivate collaboration, sharing knowledge, encouragement, community support, creativity, and artistic evolution.
Remember, FABRIC offers a LOT of stuff for free to the Boston fiber arts community:
- 5′ x 5′ cutting table
- use any of the stuff in our library while we’re open
- this includes books, magazines, knitting needles, crochet hooks, and more!
- hang out on the couch and make new friends
- fun, inspiration, and camaraderie
