In this class you will use a straight stitch to make a box pouch with a zipper.
You can use zipper pouches to organize a purse, backpack, and toiletries while traveling. They also make a great gift! Novice to advanced sewers welcome.
This class will take you step by step through the process of interfacing, pinning, seaming, and inserting a zipper. By the end of the class you will have a completed pouch, the skill to make a second at home, and a list of friends that you can’t wait to make one for.
Students will need to bring:
1 – 12 inch plastic zipper (it must be plastic)
Use what FABRIC has or bring:
1- fat quarter (or 15 inch square) for main fabric
1- fat quarter (or 15 inch square) for lining fabric
